The first of July!

Someone I know slightly was telling me how she lived in Brighton for a while. She compared Brighton to Totnes. I mentioned that there were a lot more gay people in Brighton than in Totnes. She said that she had lived right in the middle of the gay area. Something like Kempton, but she said everyone called it Camp Town. It hadn't occurred to me that she might be gay or that I might have caused offence. Sometimes I'm a bit thick.

My five year old son likes the cinema, enjoyed a 3D movie this afternoon, but on balance preferred to watch it without the 3D glasses. I think I prefer bright 2D to dull 3D. There were some wonderful 3D moments but it's just not good enough yet. The movie was Ice Age 4. Milking the franchise.
